On January 7, 2017, the working conference of the Secretariat of the Working Committee for the Accreditation of Medical Education was successfully held in Wuxi.
At the beginning, the situation of the five preliminary-visited schools were introduced, the improvement plan submitted by these schools were discussed, and a preliminary consensus on these schools was reached. The situation of Nanhua University which was review-visited and the suggestions of the assessors involved in the review visit were discussed. Subsequently, the application materials of the schools applying to be accredited next year were discussed, and relevant conclusions were reached. Participants also discussed the progress reports and comprehensive reports submitted by schools in 2016 and the feedbacks from experts after they review these reports. Schools which need to be review-visited in 2017 were also proposed. Finally, the new edition of Guidelines were reviewed and finalized.
