Implement the assessment of medical programs to ensure the quality of medical education.

A quality assurance system for medical education should be set up with contributions from the government, the community and medical schools together. The accreditation for medical education should be implemented according to the China Standards for Basic Medical Education. The accreditation results should be utilized as evidence for examining the enrollment size of medical schools, and will be published in an appropriate way.
