On August 26, 2017, the fourth training for secretariats of Medical Accreditation was successfully held in Beijing. Professor Wang Weimin, deputy secretary-general of the Working Committee for the Accreditation of Medical Education, and more than 20 secretaries and trainee secretaries of the 2017 assessment teams attended the training. The training was chaired by Wang Jingchao from the Secretariat office.
During the meeting, Professor Wang Weimin highly praised the hard work of the secretaries, emphasized the importance of the secretaries as a bridge in the accreditation work, and encouraged the secretaries to make persistent efforts.
Mr. Wang Jingchao introduced the duties and work flow of the accreditation secretaries, and gave a detailed introduction of the preparation before the accreditation, the site visit, the secretarial work after the site visit and the precautions. Furthermore, he introduced the supplement work documents and the requirement of preparing the accreditation report.
Lu Man, staff from the secretariat office, shared the key points and procedures if foreign accreditation experts are involved in the accreditation and explained the secretarial operation process of the on-line working system for the accreditation of medical education.
Finally, based on their own secretarial work experience, each of the secretaries shared their feelings and summarized the lessons and achievements. The trainee secretaries also actively expressed their feelings of attending this training.
